Farewell Liam and Blake

At the end of Term 1, Room 3 and Room 4 joined together for a shared lunch to say farewell to Liam, Blake and Blake's brother Jack.  We are sad to say good bye to our friends but know they will enjoy their new towns and new schools.  Keep in touch Liam, Blake and Jack!

Thumbelina

We read the story "Thumbelina".  We imagined what it would be like to be as small as a thumb.  What would our school be like for a really tiny person?  We went outside and took some close-up photos, then drew and wrote about what it might be like to be the size of a thumb.  You can see our work in the next few blog posts.

"I like going underwater and making a bomb.  I like diving in the water," said Finlay.
"I like doing shark swims and diving and I like it when our new swimming teachers come," said Keylin.
"I like doing flips under the water," said Liam.
